Helping to save life
Every Tuesday another group goes outside after the lessons to help young children and their parents to cross the road safely.
We use traffic signs to help them.
Everyone has another duty. We wait 10 minutes before the bell rings and we wear our shiny jackets and take our traffic signs.
I think it's very important to help the young children to cross the road.
It is very responsible work.
On Tuesday we stay near the road.
We wear a shiny vest.
We are 5 children, 4 of children hold a traffic signal.
One child is the captain.
When children come we open the sign that says walk and stop the cars.
We stay near the road 10-15 minutes twice on Tuesday.
We are safety guards near the school.
We have a shift every week.
We need for children to cross the road safely.
We have a big responsibility.
We are holding a traffic light and wearing a shiny west.
I am a captain of crossing team; we help kids cross the road that is close to school. Every kid in the team has a duty: four kids open and close the traffic signs and one kid writes the numbers and the names of kids and cars that do not listen to the crossing team instructions. The crossing team wears shiny jackets. The crossing team helps the little kids to cross the road because the little kids are too small and the people in the cars can not see them and most of the time the little kids do not see the cars, or they see a friend on the other side and they run to meet him but they do not look for the cars.
It's very important to save lives on the road.

With out us, 6th grade children, the little children from the little grades, don’t know when they need to stop, and when to go.
They think that the cars stop driving because they are on the road.
We need to be very responsible on the road.
This is our life!
